What this covers

CPC uses account and deal information to run creator agreements. This page describes that use, including what happens when you connect Farcaster or X.

CPC Account

A CPC Account can be opened with Farcaster, X, Google, or email. CPC keeps the sign-in method, a session on your device, and the profile you use inside CPC.

If you register with Google, CPC receives the verified email address from Google. Your CPC name, username, and photo are the ones you enter. CPC does not finish your profile with Google’s name or picture.

If you register with email, CPC keeps that email address and a password hash so you can sign in. CPC sends a verification code to that address.

If you register with Farcaster or X, CPC uses the name, username, and photo from that account for the CPC profile. You can edit them later.

Farcaster and X

Connecting Farcaster or X grants CPC read-only access. CPC does not cast, post, follow, reply, or send messages from your account.

From a connected account CPC reads the public profile: name, username, photo, bio, and profile link. It also reads the follower count.

When that asset has more than 5,000 followers, CPC can show engagement from the last 30 days: likes, replies, and recasts on Farcaster or reposts on X. Below that follower count, CPC does not present those 30-day totals.

CPC keeps the read connection so those figures can stay current. Disconnecting the asset stops that sync and removes the stored read credentials. The CPC Account and its deal history remain.

One Farcaster account, and one X account, can be connected to only one CPC Account.

Telegram

You connect your Telegram account by pressing Start in the CPC bot. CPC keeps your Telegram user id, username, and name. A channel is optional.

You can also connect one public Telegram channel that you own. You choose it in Telegram through the CPC bot. The bot does not join the channel, does not become an admin, and never posts, edits, or reads private messages there.

For a connected channel, CPC keeps its id, public link, title, photo, and subscriber count.

When the channel has more than 5,000 subscribers, CPC reads its public posts from the last 30 days and shows the post count, views, and reactions. Below that count, CPC does not present those totals.

Disconnecting Telegram removes the Telegram account and its channel from your CPC Account and stops that sync. A Telegram account and a Telegram channel can each be connected to only one CPC Account.

Deals and wallets

A deal stores the Campaign Agreement Paper, the content attached to it, publication records, and the USDC amounts on Base. Those records stay with the deal so both parties can see what was agreed and settled.

Funding and release are signed by your wallet. On the website that is a browser wallet. Inside Farcaster that is the Farcaster wallet. CPC does not hold your wallet keys. The wallet address used for a deal is part of the deal record.

What CPC does not do

CPC does not sell account data. It does not use a connected Farcaster or X account to publish. It does not treat follower count or 30-day engagement as a guarantee of future reach.
