The service

CPC is the execution layer for creator deals, available at cpcapp.io and inside the Farcaster mini app. An advertiser and a creator use one Campaign Agreement Paper, fund that agreement in USDC on Base, and settle it through the deal record.

These terms describe the product as it operates. Using CPC means you accept them.

CPC Account

A CPC Account is how you sign in. You can create one with Farcaster, X, Google, or email.

If you register with Google, CPC asks you to choose your own display name, username, and a photo from your device before the account is ready. If you register with Farcaster or X, CPC takes the name, username, and photo from that account. You can edit the CPC profile later.

Farcaster and X are social assets connected to a CPC Account. Email and Google are sign-in methods. A social asset is not a second CPC Account.

Social assets

Only Farcaster and X can be connected as social assets. CPC reads those profiles to identify the account, show follower count, and check creator eligibility. CPC does not publish casts or posts for you.

One Farcaster account, and one X account, can be connected to only one CPC Account. If that asset is already connected elsewhere, CPC refuses the new connection. Sign in to the first account, disconnect the asset, then connect it to the account you want.

Creators

Creator Mode and a public creator card require a connected social asset with more than 5,000 followers. CPC uses the follower count from that asset. A number you type is not accepted.

The listed cost per cast is a reference price. An advertiser may offer a different amount for a Dedicated Cast, Quote Cast, Thread, or Recast.

Agreements

A deal is one Campaign Agreement Paper between one advertiser and one creator. Negotiation stays on that paper. Both parties sign the same final version before funding.

When the advertiser accepts the creator’s content, that content is frozen for the deal. The creator publishes what the signed paper requires, on the agreed schedule.

Funding and settlement

Payment is USDC on Base. The advertiser funds escrow from their own wallet after both signatures. Creator compensation is the amount on the paper. CPC adds a 5% fee on top of that amount, paid by the advertiser. After escrow is funded, that fee is not returned.

Settlement releases the full creator amount to the creator, or refunds that amount to the advertiser. CPC does not split creator compensation. If the creator submits a signed release request and the advertiser neither releases nor opens a dispute within 24 hours, creator compensation can auto-release.

If escrow is not funded by the paper’s publication time, the deal expires. After funding, the campaign is not cancelled outside the release, auto-release, and dispute rules.

Disputes

A funded deal can be disputed under the CPC Contracting and Arbitration Policy shown with that paper. The ruling releases creator compensation to the creator or refunds it to the advertiser. The 5% fee stays with CPC after funding.

Wallets

You sign funding, release, and related transactions with your own wallet. On the website that is a browser wallet. Inside Farcaster that is the Farcaster wallet. CPC does not hold your wallet keys, and network fees are not CPC revenue.

What CPC does not promise

CPC does not guarantee reach, engagement, a completed deal, or that the other party will act. Publication and payment records stay attached to the deal. They are not a promise of future performance.

You are responsible for the content you agree to publish and for following the rules of Farcaster and X.
